“My aim is to craft a comparable source of joy that has given me a lifetime of pleasure which others have fulfilled mostly through Folky ballads and that offshoot of Nashville which bears a semblance to Country Music with an edge.”
I was born in a small town in Southern Ontario just east of "THE BIG SMOKE". There was music in our family, my grandfather played fiddle and guitar and also wrote a song or two. At an early age a tape recorder was brought into the household and all the toys in the world couldn't hold a candle to this interesting new machine. It was at this point my fascination with magnetic tape grew and never stopped. Around the same time music was coming at me from all directions, I soon developed a taste for Rock, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Country and eventually Classical. I also started to learn to play the guitar, learning popular folk songs and then studying classical guitar and the rudiments of music. As I slowly progressed I realized that I was automatically forming my own songs in my head and this is what seemed to me the direction that I wanted to take. Songwriting is a very tedious and tenacious process which requires a lot of molding along the way. I love it to this day.
